Weekly Update: September 19-14, 2022

Reminder:  Homecoming is next week!  Please join us for the Eagle Fan Club Tailgate before the game.  The tailgate will be on the WC from 4-6pm -- food, bounce houses, games and team sendoff.  The game kicks off at 6:30pm at Jupiter High.  Wear black and come enjoy Homecoming with us!  

FCA Huddles:  JCS Alum and FCA Rep, Sarah Narbone (c/o 2017), lead a time of fellowship and devotions with our Middle School and High School student-athletes.  Sarah and other FCA Reps will be meeting each Monday this year.  If you haven't already come to one, make plans to join us at the next one:  October 3.

Middle School - Room 208 and High School - Room 22.  

Cross Country:  On Saturday, the Cross Country runners participated in the South Fork Bulldog Invite.  Andrew Stanek (7th) took 5th place in the JV Race with a time of 21:02.  

Football:  Varsity Football traveled to Boca Raton Christian on Friday night and brought home the win.  Working as a team, the defense kept Boca's scoring low and the offense made use of the play book and scored 49.  This week, the Eagles host Westminster Academy at JHS at 6:30pm on Friday night. 

Women's Golf:  The Lady Eagles hosted Palm Beach Gardens this week and came out with the top 3 scores:  Emilia Edgar - 44, Celene Stevenson - 47 and Savanna Altman - 49.  This week, they'll host a tri-match at Sandhill Crane on Thursday.  

Men's Golf:  Traveling to play at The Saints Course vs Morningside Academy on Tuesday, the Eagles fell just 8 strokes short of the win.  On Thursday, the team headed south to Atlantic Country Club to play Lake Worth Christian.  The Eagles won the match 162-182.  This week, t

Swimming:  On Saturday, our swimmers spent the day at Sailfish Splash for the FSPA Meet.   Eagles swimmers competed with 24
other teams in the FSPA swim meet this weekend in the fastest meet they will see until States. After the night was done, every Eagles swimmer set a new personal best in at least one event.

Volleyball:  Varsity Volleyball was BUSY last week.  Traveling to St. Andrews on Tuesday - they WON in 5.  Hosted Lake Worth Christian on Thursday - they WON in 3.  Then, on Friday and Saturday, they participated in the Palm Beach Classic tournament, going 2-2 in their four matches.  They'll host 2 games this week:  Tuesday vs Glades Day and Thursday vs Cardinal Newman.

Reminders: 
All home athletic contests and many of our away contests will have cash-less gates.  Please be prepared to purchase your tickets before arriving to the game.  For JCS home games, purchase an Eagle Fan Club annual pass and simplify your game tickets.   If an opponent is using an online ticket - we will share that information on our Instagram the day of the game!
