We are now halfway through regular season for some of our Fall teams.  Before we know it, it will be time for Homecoming, Senior Nights and post-season playoffs.  

FCA Huddles started last Monday!  JCS Alum and FCA Rep, Sarah Narbone (c/o 2017), lead a time of fellowship and devotions with our Middle School and High School student-athletes.  Sarah and other FCA Reps will be meeting each Monday this year.  If you haven't already come to one, make plans to join us at the next one:  October 3.

Middle School - Room 208 and High School - Room 22.  

Cross Country:  Participating in the Spanish River Invitational on Friday, every runner set a new PR!  Andrew Stanek and Frankie Flora finished in the top 10% for Middle School runners.  Congratulations! 

Football:  Varsity Football Traveled to Somerset Canyons in Boynton Beach on Friday night.  A tough loss from a good opponent, the Eagles are gearing up for their next game on Friday at Boca Raton Christian School at 7pm.  Tickets are ONLINE only and can be purchased - HERE!

Women's Golf:  Rain kept the team from completing their match vs Dwyer on Thursday.  This Thursday, they will host Oxbridge Academy at Sandhill Crane at 3:30pm.

Men's Golf:  Both matches on the schedule last week were cancelled due to the weather.   On Tuesday, the team plays Lake Worth Christian at Atlantic Country Club and on Thursday travels north to play Morningside Academy at The Saints Course.

Swimming:  The Pine Invitational was cancelled due to storms on Thursday.  This week the team will participate in the FSPA Swim Meet on Saturday at Sailfish Splash.  

ICYMI:  Grady Cothran ('24), Varsity Swim student-athlete, was selected by the FHSAA to be a part of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for the 2022-23 school year.  To reach more about this, click HERE. 

Volleyball:  Varsity Volleyball went 3-0 in last week's matches!  Defeating each opponent in 3, the Eagles improve to 5-3.  This week is busy:  Away at St. Andrews on Thursday, HOME vs Lake Worth Christian on Thursday and then competing in the PB Classic Tournament on Friday & Saturday.

Reminders: 
All home athletic contests and many of our away contests will have cash-less gates.  Please be prepared to purchase your tickets before arriving to the game.  For JCS home games, purchase an Eagle Fan Club annual pass and simplify your game tickets.   If an opponent is using an online ticket - we will share that information on our Instagram the day of the game!
