JV season came to an end on Thursday as they played their final game against Oxbridge. Congrats to our JV girls on a season where they improved and developed drastically. We are looking forward to seeing the players continue to progress!

Varsity girls played their final game of the season Thursday in a hard fought game where they fell to Oxbridge 3-1. District tournament play for the Eagles will begin next Tuesday 10/19. Schedule is still TBA.

JCS Swim Team competed in the Heartland Invitational with 10 other schools this past Saturday up at Lake Placid High School. In their last regular season meet of the season, Eagle swimmers finished strong in a meet that would be cut short by inclement weather. The 200 Freestyle was the event to watch, as Courtney Grady finished 3rd overall, and Hallie Brams celebrated her birthday with an 11th place finish on a personal best time of 2:36.47. The Boys 200 Freestyle was also a sight to see as Sawyer Pro took home 1st place overall as he broke the 2 minute mark for the first time (1:59.55) and Noah Brown and Isaiah Petree both dropped time in events they will likely see again at Districts. A pair of first place finishes by Clayton Pinera (200 IM) and Kevin Young (100 Fly) and a 2nd place finish in the 50 Free by Lily Amersi positioned the Eagles to finish 5th at the Heartland Invitational. The JCS Eagles swim again at Districts on October 20th at Indian River State College.

Varsity Boys lost to St. John Paul Tuesday 189-172. Mike Gioffre was at the top of the leaderboard for the Eagles shooting a team best 42. The Eagles got through 14 holes on Thursday vs. The Pine School before they had to cancel due to lightning. They are back on the links on Tuesday and Thursday this week @ Cardinal Newman and at home vs. Lake Worth Christian.

Cross Country

MS and Varsity runners competed in the Fleet Feet Invitational Saturday morning at The Pine School. The Varsity team placed 4th overall with 5th and 6th places finishes from Jacob Stanton and Dylan Webb! They finished with 19:09 and 19:12 times respectively. They will prepare for their last meet of the year on Saturday as they will compete at South Fork High School.

Middle School boys had a tough loss, 8-12 @ Boca Christian on Thursday. They travel to Glades Day for a rematch on Wednesday for their last game of the season.
