Michelle Williams - Administrative Assistant to Athletics

Michelle Williams is a second generation JCS Alum ('02) and jumped at the chance to return to her "home" at JCS as the Administrative Assistant to Athletics in 2016.  Since day one, Ms. Williams has enjoyed the fast pace of the department and shared in our student-athletes’ excitement as they do something they love.  

Growing up in Jupiter, Michelle chose to stay in town and attend Palm Beach State College after graduating from JCS.  Shortly after receiving her Associate’s Degree, she moved to Massachusetts to pursue a job at Lakeside Christian Camp as Director of Guest Services.  She enjoyed her time at Lakeside, learning what it was like to work in adult and youth focused ministry.  

Before her return to Jupiter, Michelle moved to Nashville, TN, where she worked for Panera Bread; honing her customer service skills, learning how to create and execute business plans, and exceeding company goals.  As a general manager, she managed 85 employees and ran one of the busiest cafes in the US.  

Taking the skills she’s learned at each of her jobs, Michelle applies them to her daily tasks at JCS, which include: managing student-athlete eligibility, maintaining the website, working on compliance and being a liaison for the department to academics & guidance.  

"Working with both student-athletes & coaches on a daily basis brings me joy.  Athletics is what the coaches and students choose to do above and beyond their regular day -- and I get to be a part of that!  Watching a basketball player score their first basket or the baseball team winning in extra innings -- those are the moments that the athletes won't forget!  That's why I'm here."
