Athletic Eligibility & Forms

Registration & Eligibility

Welcome to Jupiter Christian Athletics!  

To participate in interscholastic sports at Jupiter Christian School, you must first apply and be accepted as a traditional or home  education student.   Click here if you have not yet enrolled as a student at JCS for the 2020/21 school year. 

We are excited to begin Registration & Eligibility for the 2020-21 School Year.  Through this process you will need access to; a printer, PlusPortals (Parent) and your personal email account.   

Athlete Registration

Through SportsEngine, you will need to register yourself and all of your student-athletes.  This information will be used to assign rosters at the completion of team tryouts, for coaches & parents to communicate throughout the season and to stay up-to-date with JCS Athletics.  

Step 1: Go to: and signup with SportsEngine (parent, not student)
Step 2:  Verify Email and Log In
Step 3:  Sign up each of your student-athletes (Grade 6-12th)
Step 4:  Download the SportsEngine App
Step 5:  Sign In and search “Jupiter Christian School” – select your favorite JCS teams and click on the ‘star’ to keep them with your account. 

Until your student-athlete is assigned to a team, you’ll solely be a FAN of the team.  Once rosters are assigned, you’ll be assigned permissions to participate in team communications with the Coach and other members of the team & their families.  (Similar to TeamSnap and other communication apps)

Athlete Eligibility

JCS is a member of the Florida High School Athletics Association. The FHSAA is the authorized representative of the Department of Education in the supervision of interscholastic athletic activities. As such,  all enrolled, non-traditional and international JCS student-athletes in grades 6-12 must complete all FHSAA Required Eligibility forms. 

The FHSAA requires the completion of the eligibility forms to be able to compete at the Middle School and High School levels in the State of Florida.  

Some of the FHSAA Eligibility Forms have been moved to an online form for ease of completion.  These forms are required to be submitted BEFORE the student-athlete can participate in any open gym, weight training, tryouts, etc.  

GA4 - Required for all students transferring in for 10-12th grade, this form will be found in the Registration portion.
EL2 - Required for all students to participate in athletics.  You can print the form HERE for completion.  
EL3 - Required for all students to participate in athletics.  You will complete this form in PlusPortals (Parent).

2020-21 Athletic Eligibility Packet

Step 1:  Log in to PlusPortals (Parent) 
Step 2:  Select the Student you are completing the packet for.
Step 3:  Go to Forms and choose “2020-21 Athletic Eligibility Packet”
Step 4:  Complete and Submit

Student-Athlete Transportation Release Form

Completed Release Forms are due to the Athletic Office 24 hours before scheduled requested game.  You may email the form to M. Williams.  

NFHS Required Video Courses

The following FREE video courses through the NFHS are required by the FHSAA (Policies 40.1.1, 41.1 and 42.1.1) to be taken each year by all student-athletes and coaches.

Athletic Fees

The athletic fees assist JCS with various administrative costs including, but not limited to: uniform maintenance and acquisition, FHSAA registration and membership, transportation, equipment, etc. In addition to athletic fees, individual teams may require additional monies for the purposes of team gear, tournaments, overnight trips, food, etc. The athletic fee is established by the JCS Board of Directors. 

Varsity $300 ; Jr. Varsity; $250; Middle School; $250 (Effective 7/30/18)

Athletic Team Fees are billed to each student-athlete upon placement on a team roster.
